i received the package in a timely manner and when installed into my computer it definitely improved. I went to purchase another from the same company and realized they put up the price. I hate when that happens.

Adding Ram is such an inexpensive way to upgrade your computer!
This stuff came quick, popped in easy and makes a huge difference.

After matching the specs, I bought this to upgrade my aging Dell computer. I installed it and the next thing came this burning smell from inside my computer. I immediately turned it off and removed the melting RAM, but it was too late. My old computer is no more. I felt like a bit of a dufus thinking I must have made a monumental mistake somewhere along the line. (Although I was certain to match the specs and install it correctly, snapping it in to place.) I called Kingston and they said they preferred another one of their more expensive memory sticks, and as such this part is not guaranteed. (I said, funny how there is no mention of that on Amazon or in retail stores or on the package for that matter.) But the Kingston rep finally admitted that what happened should not have happened. But too bad for me... Basically, you're out of luck sucker. Fortunately, I had no problem returning the defective part to Amazon - they even picked up the shipping. So I got my thirty some odd dollars back, and am only out the price of a new computer...
